I’m covering breaking news this summer for the Tampa Bay Times. I’m from Maplewood, New Jersey and have spent the past four years in Durham, North Carolina, at Duke University. I got hooked on journalism after taking my first reporting class as a freshman and discovering the excitement and gratification of the work. I’ll graduate from Duke this winter as an English major and Environmental Science minor. Outside of classes and writing, I spend my time traveling wherever I can, skateboarding and snowboarding and trying new restaurants. I’ve previously interned at The Charlotte Observer and the Los Angeles Times.
