Tampa man accused of impersonating police officer, stealing gun
John Stephenson Inglis Jr. was arrested Saturday on charges that include impersonating a public officer, grand theft of a firearm and violating a risk protection order, records show. The Tampa man was under a court order forbidding him to possess a gun when he stole a pistol from a motorist while pretending to be a law enforcement officer during a traffic stop, authorities said.
